Information, not advice.
SPAC Watch reads public filings and turns them into one comparable dataset. It does not tell you what to do with it, and it cannot promise the filings are right.

In short
- Nothing on SPAC Watch is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
- We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or rating agency.
- Figures are derived from public SEC filings and can be wrong, late, or restated.
- Risk classifications summarise disclosure. They do not predict outcomes.
- Verify against the original filing before you act. Every figure links to it.
This summary is for orientation only. The numbered sections below are the ones that apply.
This is information, not advice
SPAC Watch is an information service. Everything published on this site — screens, profiles, figures, classifications, calendars, articles and commentary — is general information about publicly traded special purpose acquisition companies. None of it is investment advice, financial advice, tax advice or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security.
Nothing here takes account of your objectives, your financial situation, your time horizon or your tolerance for loss, because nothing here knows any of those things. A figure that looks favourable on this site may be entirely unsuitable for you. If you need advice, get it from someone licensed to give it in your jurisdiction, who has asked you those questions.
We are not registered in any advisory capacity
SPAC Watch is not a registered investment adviser, broker, dealer, futures commission merchant, credit rating agency or nationally recognised statistical rating organisation, and is not registered with or supervised by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, or any equivalent authority elsewhere. Using this site creates no advisory, fiduciary or brokerage relationship between you and us.
Where the data comes from
Substantially all of the data on this site is derived from documents filed with the SEC and published through EDGAR — registration statements, prospectuses, quarterly and annual reports, current reports, proxy statements and their exhibits. Those documents are written by the companies themselves and their agents. We read them, extract figures from them and compute derived measures; we do not audit them, and we cannot correct them. The methodology page sets out what each headline figure means and which filing it is taken from.
Market prices, where shown, come from a third-party market data provider. They may be delayed, may not reflect the last trade, and are not a quotation on which any transaction can be executed.
The data can be wrong
We take reasonable care, and the data is nevertheless supplied “as is”, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness for any purpose. Specific, known limits of the method:
- Timing. Everything here moves at filing speed. An event the market knew about on the day reaches this site after it reaches EDGAR, and processing adds further delay.
- Restatements. When a company restates prior figures our record changes with it, so a number can legitimately differ from the one you saw last month.
- Tagging quality. XBRL tagging varies between filers. Where a value cannot be read reliably we show nothing rather than an estimate, so a gap here is a gap and not a zero — but a mis-tagged value that reads cleanly will be shown as filed.
- Automated extraction. Parts of the pipeline use automated and machine-learning techniques to read documents that are not machine-readable. These make mistakes, including confident ones.
- Derived measures. Trust per share, redemption rates, implied returns and similar figures are computed by us from filed inputs under stated definitions. A different but equally defensible definition would give a different number.
- Coverage. Absence from this site is not evidence that a SPAC, a filing or an event does not exist.
If you find something wrong, please tell us. A correction cited against a source filing is the fastest way to fix it.
Classifications and signals are not ratings
Risk signals, classification bands and any similar scoring on this site are summaries of disclosure, computed mechanically from filed data under the definitions on the methodology page. They are not credit ratings, not opinions on the merits of any security, and not forecasts.
A SPAC our method classifies as speculative may complete an excellent transaction. One it classifies favourably may liquidate, or its shares may fall sharply. Any implied ranking is between SPACs on the measured dimension only, and only insofar as the underlying filings are accurate.
Dates and expectations are not promises
Deadlines, expected closing dates, extension schedules and similar dates are taken from charters, amendments and announcements as they stood when filed. They change constantly, often at short notice and often by shareholder vote. Treat every forward-looking date on this site as a statement about a document, not as a prediction of what will happen.
SPACs carry particular risks
This is not an exhaustive list, and it is not tailored to any particular company. Investing in a SPAC or its warrants and rights exposes you to, among other things: the possibility that no transaction is completed and the vehicle liquidates; substantial dilution from founder shares, warrants and financing arranged at closing; redemption dynamics that can leave very little cash in trust at the point a deal closes; conflicts of interest between sponsors and public shareholders; thin liquidity and wide spreads, particularly in warrants and rights; delisting; and the total loss of the amount you invest. Warrants and rights can expire worthless even where the underlying shares retain value.
Verify before you act
Every figure on this site links to the filing it was taken from, precisely so that you can check it. Do that before making any decision. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising out of reliance on anything published here, including losses arising from data that is inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or absent.
This page forms part of, and is subject to, our Terms of Service — including the sections on warranties and on limitation of liability.
Availability
This site is published from a single location and made available worldwide. Nothing on it is directed at any person in any jurisdiction where its publication or availability would be contrary to local law. If that describes where you are, this site is not for you.
